Cambridge is a venerable name for city. I lived in Cambridge Massachusetts
for some of my formative years and I have visited Cambridge England and
Cambridge Ontario. But there are at least fifteen other towns or cities
by that name in other of these United States. Not counting all the directional
prefixes, like East Cambridge, and the various endings, like Cambridgeport.
This tour is designed to visit all the towns and cities named Cambridge.
I count seventeen. The first version is an end to end tour, Cambridge Massachusetts
to Cambridge Idaho. The second is a loop, beginning and ending in Cambridge
Massachusetts. Several variations are possible such as reversing the end
to end or doing the loop in some other configuration. This tour is on the
back burner and is here mostly to give an idea to you of the kind of long
trip we could do.

Camping costs would be hard to estimate until one gets into more serious
planning. Most days should be no significant cost. In this tour several
nights could be at SKP club campgrounds for laundry and showers. Other
nights would be at truckstops. Nights at commercial campgrounds could cost
around 30$ per night.
