Idaho has got to have the most hot springs of any state and many of the most delightful. Some are primitive, at the end of a hike, others are commercial developments with campgrounds and stores nearby. All have hot water in common. Some even require you to wear a swim suit. I've been to a few of the hot springs in Idaho and would very much enjoy taking you to them and exploring some of the others as well.

One could easily spend a summer just wandering around the state being in hot water much of the time. No attempt to estimate mileage, fuel costs or food and camping fees has been made for this tour. Here is a map showing the location of some of the springs in Idaho. The numbers indicate the order in which I entered them and are not referenced to the book mentioned above.
