Fundraiser: BBQ at the Lake
This event will take place on September 29, 2006 (Friday) from 5pm to 7pm. It is a Tri-tip dinner with potato salad, baked beans, dinner roll and drinks. There will be a band, Culture Clash, and the tickets are $12.00. We are selling tickets to the Merced Community (not just UCM students). For the student that sells the most tickets, there will be a $20 gift card (jamba juice or starbucks.. winner's choice), so sell those tickets and help raise money for our club!!!
We encourage all members to participate in selling a minimum of 5 tickets, and you can pick up tickets from me. I'm usually at the library, so just email me and we can arrange to meet somewhere on campus.
Also, we need volunteers to help us set up for the event. If you are interested, email me and let me know asap. We need around 4 volunteers per hour from 2pm to 8pm. The officers have decided that if you choose to volunteer, as a thank you, volunteer participant's food will be free!! Space is limited, so don't hesitate, email me to sign up to volunteer now!
We will be selling tickets at a booth located outside the Dining Commons on Sept, 26th and 28th. Please let your friends know and come out and support Chemistry Club.
